BYU quarterback John Beck had just been selected in the second round of the NFL Draft by Miami - which, of course, meant returning numerous phone calls to family, friends and the media and making himself available for television interviews. At the same time, Beck was packing his suitcase because the Dolphins wanted him to fly to Miami Saturday night.

I think the Phins made a great choice by passing on Quinn for Beck.

From another article in the desert news it made it out that Miami was trying to trade up to get another pick in the first round to get Beck! They were sold on him!!!! Perhaps he can help rebuild Miami's tradition as he helped bring back the cougs.
