How much of a factor if any does the mountain and lack of exposure have on Harline not being picked in the draft.

How much of a factor if any does the mountain and lack of exposure have on Harline not being picked in the draft.


Much less of a factor than his poor showing at the combine. He had one of the lowest number of 225 bench reps of any tight end.

His biggest problem is that he's "too weak" for an NFL TE and "too slow" for a pro WR. I was not at all surprised that he wasn't drafted. His best bet will be free agency. I think that he'll do well and can one day be a starting receiver if given a fair chance.

He could be used as a slot receiver much like Joe Jerevicius who played for the Seahawks and is now playing for the Browns. He plays better in the middle where he can find open spots in the zone.
