- Austin Collie (ankle) and Ben Criddle (foot) returned to practice while Brandon Howard (ankle) and Manase Tonga (sprained MCL) missed practice today. All four are expected to be in the lineup on Saturday against UNLV. Fui Vakapuna (broken hand) could make his return against Eastern Washington.
- Linebacker Markell Staffieri is suffering from a case of pink eye. The eye is swollen and red, but he is taking medication and said it had already improved by this afternoon.

Austin Collie took advantage of the bye week to get engaged to freshman defensive back Jordan Pendleton's sister. Coincidentally, Collie's and Pendleton's fathers were roommates at BYU.
Ya the Cinncinatti mission was a completely different mission but I did serve in Lebanon which was the very border of the mission I was closer to Cinncinatti sorry I'm not sure how too spell that? Then I was Columbus. Cinci was only like a half an hour to forty five minutes but I couldn't go there. Ya I never served in Mount Vernon or Marysville. But I know exactly where they are. It was really cool. And after serving out there I love the buckeyes. Next to the y they are my favorite football team. And I pretty much like all sports teams that are in Ohio!
I used to live in the Cinci area (Northern Kentucky to be exact). I loved the fireworks displays out there on the river. Amazing. I also love the chili. Nothing quite like it back her in Utah. I enjoyed going to Reds games and baseball is much more fun to watch in a stadium then on tv. It has been 11 years since I moved, but was fun while there. Lee Johnson was a member of my ward when he was playing with the Bengals and it was always nice to have him around during the season.
I have been kinda hit and miss on some of the articles but I thought I remember a few weeks, more specifically after the Tulsa game Bronco stated that Collie would not be returning kick offs or punts because he is worth more as a receiver than as a pr or kr, I could be wrong but I thought I remember reading that.
I served in the Ohio Col. mission during 95-97, mostly in the southern areas, man that is beautiful country especially Chillicothe.
I served up north in the Cleveland, Johnson farm, Kirkland Temple area all around Lake Erie. Coooold in the winter. Beautiful in the fall. Hotttt in the summer and bareable in the spring. I didn't get into the church history faze of my life till 15 years after my mish... I was soo stupid. All that history and I didn't realize really how much took place. Oh to be 20 again.

Wow, I didnt realize Ohio was so well represented by the Cougar faithful! We have a lot of BYU grads in our ward here as Proctor & Gamble practicly owns Cincinnati, and it seems they enjoy the bilingual BYU grads servicing their foreign accounts. My wife and I are actually relocating back to Utah in a few weeks! We are super excited to get back to LES and the beautiful mountains! We will miss good old Ohio though. It has been fun to see some pro sports while we were out here. Last month we went to the Bengals Colts pre season Friday night game and saw Curtis Brown, Daniel Coats, Johnny Harline, and Rob Morris all get game time. Good times! Heres to watching the Cougars win out in person!!!!
