Well I had the wonderful opportunity to go to the BYU game in Vegas. Well I just have to say something about the fans over there. Well right at the end of the first half and start of the 3rd quarter a guy started walking through the BYU section with a sign that said BYU SUX and then a picture of well male balls. Our fans started yelling at him and threw some stuff and he finally stopped. To me left towards the top of the stadium there was a group of UNLV fans all having beers and they were just obnoxious! I loved the game and it was a good laugh from their fans. Pretty poor if you ask me! Well just interesting...

The funniest part of the whole game was when UNLV got their garbage time TD and nobody cheered. I was actually kind of confused for a second when the fireworks went off. It was the ultimate anti-climatic end. Does it tick anybody else off that teams run their 2-minute offense against our 2nd stringers? UNLV should have had 8 less points and 70 less total yards. What a cheap stat bump. I guess they had to beat the spread though...

I attend nearly every BYU Football and Basketball game at UNLV. I have never had a single incident with a UNLV fan that was not in good fun. I sat next to a UNLV fan at the game and it was nothing but cordial.

I did not see the guy with the BYU Sux sign. I don't get the balls part of the sign.

I also went to the game, and a couple of interesing things said to me from UNLV fans. As I was walking towards my car after the game, some guy yelled at me to go back to provo and drink my cream soda. I told him to get a football team and then we'd talk. I was laughing so hard at his lame attempt to burn me.

The other one was later that night, I was on the strip just walkin around, and this guy saw my shirt (Fully Invested) and yelled go cougars at me, so I yelled go cougars back at him, then he said something I'll NEVER forget. He said "I'm Fully Invested in *@$%." slang for a male body part. I was laughing so hard! I don't think he caught that what he said just made him look gay. I'm still laughing about it!

over all though, I did have some good chats with some UNLV fans, overall I was supprised by how nice the UNLV fans were to talk to

Well you know that is what the team getting creamed expects the winning team to do, give up. If I remember correctly isn't the UNLV coach the same classless guy that refused to shake Bronco's hand because he thought we were running the score up on him with our second string offense? If you expect a team to quit running their plays simply because they are up a large amount of points then in someways the opposite makes sense. Use your backups to get some good field time since you are not going to win anyway. Not to mention that it could have cost him his starting QB for some games.
