Living in the phoenix area i am deprived of any talk relating to the MWC so imagine my surprise when while listening to a phoenix sports talk show on xtra 910 here in phoenix I heard a "tell directv to stop the side show circus and add the mtn to thier channel line-up" commercial. I just thought that was kind of wierd...to the best of my knowledge, these commercials started today...Which begs the question...Has something happened in the last few days to motivate 'the mtn' or the MWC to pay for these commercials in prime radio advertising times on radio stations completely outside of the MWC region? Anyone have any news to share?

P.S. The 'do our job' thing is in reference to 'the mtn' trying to make it our job to demonstrate demand for the mtn...it's not our job...

could be due to the fact that the deadline BYU and Utah gave the mtn is now over. very recently IIRC.

Me thinks if they had used the money they have spent on ads to lower their rates instead of pressuring DirecTV and Dishnetwork to add the mtn., the mtn. would be available on satellite already.

I agree, and every time I see one of those commercials on TV about if you want to see BYU on TV then you better get comcast I throw up! What a lousy tv deal and what a bunch of low life, scum sucking, poop eating, corporate slime balls! I hated comcast before the mountain and my hate has only increased since.
