Sold out = ticket brokers have bought up - not that the seats will be full as of now
BYU will have their allotment, but there will be a ton available online too
The above is the reality. These tickets have been bought by scalpers looking to make a buck off the BYU fans. They are speculating that that will be the team going. If it is not they could get stuck with some tickets, but we all know it will be.
That is all I can say. I checked a few days ago and they were down to 1700 so I tried to get a "for sure" commitment from some friends before I got the tickets. I waited a day too long. :blush: :(
Maybe I am one of those who now hopes that the LV bowl does pass up the Cougs when we win the conference (although I think they would be stupid to do so.) At least I would be able to go to the game then.
*On a side note: If there is anyone who is looking to sell 4 tickets, we should talk.
They will sell more tickets down the road. But if you just want to show up at the stadium, you are likely to get tickets. My brother went last year and got free tickets right after kickoff from scalpers who couldn't sell their tickets. 5 minutes before kickoff he could get them for selling price.
Can we start some campaign to make BYU (aka the MWC champs) the home team? They get treated poorly (at least they're not staying at the Golden Nugget again) while the LV Bowl people profit considerably from the fans.
Honestly, who's in charge of the contracts for BYU? Between the Comcast debacle and the Las Vegas Bowl treatment, I'm fairly frustrated.
