I do think Sacklesscoda, AFA's Hall and UNLV's Bell will be POTY's; Unga as Rookie/new comer of the year will be the easiest decision for the conference.

I guess that makes Bronco an even greater head coach because he knows how to exploit the other coach's tendancies.

Just because you really, really believe it to be true doesn't make it a fact. The only facts are that Utah led at one point in both games and lost in both games.

We had to deal with losing very close games (exception 2004) for 4 years to you guys. Maybe if we had changed just one play each game, we would have won too. I understand you're upset, but now you know what BYU fans felt like.

It's easy to second guess your coach...it's just one of those things, damned if you do, damned if you dont.

Plenty of coaches go into prevent on 4th and 18, the mistake is on the coverage guy not staying home and the defensive lineman assigned to pressure not keeping contain and giving Max a bubble to operate in (fantastic job by the way to Hall for feeling the pressure)

Ok, let's hear your argument for why Utah was the better team. The fact is, you have no idea what would have happened if Kyle put pressure on Hall because HE DIDN'T!!! How do you know that wouldn't have left another man open for a 1st down? What stats support your claim?

You're right, no one knows exactly what would have happened, but if Utah pressures or blitzes Max Hall on 4th and 18, what do you think the odds are that he completes an 18+ yard pass for a 1st down? Stupid coaching by Kyle on two plays has cost Utah 2 wins over BYU. Even back in 2005 when Ratliff was the Utes' QB, Kyle gave Beck all day on 4th down and he came within inches of completing that pass in the back of the endzone which would have tied up the game and forced a 2nd OT. Three years in a row now, Kyle has called the exact same defensive strategy on a critical, game-deciding 4th down against the Cougs and twice, he's been killed by it... amazing.
