Yeah, Todd was getting on my nerves during the Wyoming game. But then he started referring to the Wyoming players as "brown shirts." That somehow made it all worth while for me.

Do you think Todd knows "brown shirts" is a slang term for Nazis? Probably not, as it has never been Dictionary.com's Word of the Day.

It really doesn't bother me. Every announcer says something during every game that I don't agree with or it's said in a peculiar way. Todd is no different.

It's just the way he talks. I doubt he's trying to show off or "sound intelligent". You don't know how he thinks or what his intentions are.

Oh come on...you know Sammy is a little hottie. She's the "proverbial" eye candy that every broadcast team has on the sidelines. Look at Holly Rowe for ESPN/ABC.

I agree with all of you, though, that I can't stand Todd Christensen, acting all intellectual. Not sure I care too much for James Bates, either, but at least he's better than Todd. To play devil's advocate for a minute, however, you have to admit that this is a young network that will go through some growing pains before (if) it gets better. Look at how hokey ESPN was when it first started. Look at some of their programming. Look at their announcers. The Mtn. will learn and they will eventually get better announcers in there, I'm sure.
