I think Bronco's public statements as to why he closed practice are a bit suspect. Practice is even more closed this week than last.
I suspect there is something Bronco is hiding, which may or may not be Gaskins under center. Things are just too hush-hush around the football offices this week for there not to be something happening.
Don't teams have to "declare" eligible players and their injuries or lack thereof or am I confusing pro sports here somehow?
Max Hall would presumably still suit up and be available, but it is like the Jason Beck experience last year against USU. Playing a soft team with a starting quarterback who could use a rest, why not throw the #2 guy out there and see what he can do. While Ja. Beck started the game, John Beck was still available to play.
I'm just wondering if we might see this tomorrow with Gaskins.
