My guess is it was to save face since he was not going to get it any way, he did not want to be a back up plan. I really hope he gets a HC job one of these days, the issue is he is getting old.

Not to go off subject here. But since Normie is out and Rickie is the leader in the clubhouse for the job as head coach of the Bruins, I say we bring back Chris Hale for one game.............just for old times sake.

From what I've read over at bruingold.com, a lot of their fans wanted Chow, mostly to stick it to USC. It looks like they're going to hire Rick Neuheisel, and not many bruin fans are too happy about it. Now if only he can implement the same high powered offense he's running in Baltimore. I like our chances a lot more next year against Neuheisel than I would agaist Chow.
