BYU is ranked about right and after tonite they will probably end up 15th or 16th. Next year we will start in the top twenty because no one will remeber that this was an ugly win, just that it was a win and we will have the longest win streak going into next year. Our young offense will be a year older and have more experience. We will have more talent returning next year. Our coaches will be more experienced and battle tested from this year. If our coaching staff stays intact we will make a great run at the BcS. If we are a one loss team next year we will be in a BcS bowl and we will win.

Go Cougars and congrates on a great season that people without Blue Googles didn't see coming.

So let me get this straight. You're criticizing BYU for barely beating a team that came out and played with heart, energy, and emotion?

So by that rationale, USC BCS talk is proven absurd by their Stanford loss.
We won the game, it wasn't pretty but we got the W (just like againsat Utah).
Get a grip, you've serious logic issues.....

USC was missing 4-5 offensive starters for that game, including JDB.

To make things worse, the players and fans stormed the field after the blocked field goal as if BYU had just won the national championship.:laugh: You guys just barely beat a 6-7 team down to its 4th string QB and it took a blocked field goal to do it and that is cause for storming the field?:blush: Just heard Austin Collie in a post-game interview... what is this guy smoking? Granted, he's very talented, but to talk as if you just beat a great team that proves you can hang with the LSU's, Oklahoma's or USC's of the world is absolutely comical! And he even threw in the "higher power" help again.:laugh: :dry: This win isn't going to propel BYU any higher in the polls than where they are right now, in fact, they could drop a spot or two after it took a last second field goal block to beat the #112 offense in the nation that was down to their 4th string QB. So please you guys... enough of the BCS talk for next year and who cares if BYU goes undefeated in the conference in '08... it means nothing because when you should have lost 19-17 to a pathetic offensive 6-7 Bruin squad, you better feel lucky you're playing in the Vegas bowl each year against the Pac 10's 4th best.
