I thought we opened the 2008 season against Northern Iowa? Whatever...considering how predictable Chow was at BYU, he should be easy to defense.

And exactly how predicatble was he the last 7 years since leaving BYU? Just predictable enough to coach four Heisman trophy winners while running some of the top offenses in the game.

No matter what your opinion of him during his days at BYU, he has adapted and changed and deserves our respect or else we'll get beat come the third week of the '08 season. We cannot take him or his offense lightly.

Chow is a good OC. He will help UCLA offensively no question. I don't like Neuheisel but I have to give him props for going after and getting Chow. That was a good football move and with Walker sticking around on the other side of the ball, if we beat UCLA, it will show as a good win because they will win some ball games. It may take a little while but with a solid D in place, once their offense gets going, they will wreak havoc in the Pac 10.
I wish Chow the best in his new digs and hope he does well, except when in Provo.

I hope Chow takes 3 or 4 weeks getting the offense firing on all cylindars and never loses other than losing to BYU and UW. UW fora couple fo reasons. My best friend's son plays for UW and UW is a BYU opponent, so it does not hurt our SOS if they whack UCLA. Would it not be sweet to see Rick (I almost added a letter on the front of his name but have matured too much to do that) Neuheisal along with two former BYU coaches as his coordinators and a tarnished former BYU QB spank the Trojans?

My ideal BCS title game would be BYU vs. USC in the Rose Bowl. It could happen. If you want to be the best, you got to beat the best and for the past 5 years, they have been the best.
