I just wanted to start a thread about the recruits that did commit to BYU. I think we got a really special class, including great high school, JC, and walk-on players. Chambers should provide immediate help at Wide Receiver, and the JC players should fill-in nicely on the defensive side. We also picked up some big time linemen. As much fun as it would have been to steal UK from USC, we already have signed several sweet players that were sought after by top-notch programs, including some who chose to walk-on at BYU rather than take a scholarship somewhere else.
I guess what I'm saying is not to get too down over the loss of this one recruit, BYU has always had to fight a little harder to overcome the non-BCS status, even before there was a BCS. So what if UK picks someone else, thats his loss.
