This is great. Finally the whole nation has the POSSIBILITY to watch BYU football. I don't think anyone should complain about not being able to watch the games. Everyone now has the ability to, it is just up to each person to fork over the $$$ for DirecTV. Has it been announced what channel the U of Washington game will be on? Just wondering. Go Cougars!

Another change that will eventually have a huge impact was CSTV being taken over by CBS. they are going to make the channel into CBS sports and base it after ESPN with their own sports center and everyhting. They will likely push to have it added to more subscrfibers and on better packages as well. Heck they already added a ton of subscribers in southern cali just recently.

Further more it has been reported that CBS wants to play MWC games on their mani national network. in fact from what the "hair" reported they wanted to start this year with some 10AM games but he said no. He further went on to say we will likely have some of those games on next season on their major network which is huge.

Bascially versus is growing, CSTV being taken over by CBS was a move in the right direction and they will likely grow and grwo fast, and the mtn getting on DirecTV the largest statelite provider will likely force dish to make a move and comcast and other cable providers to make changes. As far as HD is concerned from what I understand direcTV has more HS channels then any other cable or sattelite provider in the country and they plan to expand that to more and more HD channels. at least that is my understanding so you might want to check on that one.

Help me what is the problem with a 10am start time? Heck if it gets tv exposure and you don't have to do a Thursday midnight slot then why not?

Also the game at U of W is there so I expect it on national tv but I do not know the official answer.

Is the only way to get to Hawaii by boat? We all know the 'Bows last game on national television was a good one. Hey, at least BYU won their game.

I tend to agree, I've always thought the 10:00 am kickoff was okay, just hated the 8:00 pm kickoff. Besides, most high school and college kids are just rolling over in bed to turn on the television at about 10:00! They flip on the tube, watch some "College Game Day" and then watch the earliest games of the day. I see no problem with that. Two-a-days with a 6:00 am start time should make a 10:00 kickoff a walk in the park.
