I don't think it will be easy, but I still think we go undefeated in conference... at least until the final weekend. You never know how how out of their minds the yewts will play. And the Cougs, God love 'em, despite winning the last two years, still haven't shown me they hate losing to the pukes like the pukes do to the Cougs.

I really think UW will be alot tougher than people think. True, they haven't had much winning success in the last few years, but they have been getting some pretty decent recruiting classes. And next year Ty better show marked improvement in the wins column or he'll be out on his ear again. But I think they'll be dangerous at the very least and it is at their place and BYU still hasn't shown a penchant for winning tough OOC games on the road yet.

I think we beat UCLA at home but worse case scenario, I see us losing two, to UW and the pukes. Obviously, I don't think it's that far fetched to predict an undefeated season. They really are just a few key pieces from accomplishing that feat. They have been so close each of the last two years. I think we may even have the pieces in place, we just can't put a name to who is actually going to step up yet.

So, mark me down as 13-0. As long as my boys haven't lost, I'll always give them a shot. But I think this year more so than any of the previous years (maybe it's a toss up with 2006) I think we stand a solid chance of going undefeated and earning the BCS bowl bid.

11-1 is my prediction, I think they either lose on the road at washington, at TCU, or at Utah, but not all three.

I think this is reasonable. I am not worried about the TCU game but playing in SLC is always nerve-racking. UW will be a tough road game but this team will be tougher mentally than last year. Plus, playing @ UW worked out OK for the Cougars back in the days. I can still remember the pass to Adam Haysbert over the middle!

I think this season will say loads about Bronco, his game-planning, as well as the ability to get the players amped and focused, without being too scared to execute under pressure.

First Step: Not overlooking NI.

Second Step: Non-conf road wins. Big deal for obvious reasons. Huge albatross to get rid of.

Third: Stay focused during the MWC games... This is HUGE even if we drop a non-conf game early. No one in conf has beaten us since 2005. That puts a target squarely on our backs.

Fourth: Trounce the yewtards regardless of either team's record going in. Rivalry games being what they are, can you imagine the bile that will flow if we are undefeated and head in to Rice Chex with the only thing standing between us and a thrid consecutive undefeated conf season is DimWhitt and company?

I am so excited... only 23 lawn mowings left until NI (it rains a lot here in the spring!)
