Field Corner: Howard over Pittman.

Boundary Corner: Johnson over Bradley.

Safety: Tafuna & Fowler, with Pendleton in the mix.

I expect this to be the way the depth chart looks in the secondary at least through the first couple of games of the season. Coaches Hill and Mendenhall trust experience over talent and until the young guys prove they can play better than the vets in front of them, they will be backing up guys like Howard, Johnson and Fowler.

I'm very excited about our young guys don't get me wrong and I hope they get plenty of game experience this year but knowing what we know about the coaches, I just don't think that they'll go with the youth as starters until they can show they know the system just as well with their athletic abiliities then pushing them into the advantage.

Met Fowler Sr when he made a trip down to Dallas for the BYU TCU basketball game last month. It's cool his son starts at free safety.

Anyone coming down for the TCU BYU game?

anyone else think that fowler did a pretty nice job after gooch went down? I liked how he played. And I think it was him that just collapsed after the blocked field goal in LV. THat was funny.

I thought he did pretty well for the most part.

Safety: I hope not Tafuna & Fowler. I predict(more hoping) Rich & Pendelton. Tafuna & Fowler suck at pass coverage!!!! I agree with you on the corners.
