Anyone really know about Vic's history as a linebacker. It seems he was All-region or something like that in California at that position. This really decreases the sting of missing out on Uona. It looks like Vic will be an immediate impact player possibly even more effective than Uona would have been since he knows the BYU way, and now with one more scholarship available. Now we just need to land Manti Teo.
His bio on BYUCougars.com has him listed as a 1st-team All-San Diego linebacker his senior year. If that's just the city itself and not the county, it still includes about 23 public, non-specialized high schools - about as many high schools as there are in Salt Lake City and Utah County combined.
