Gaskins had had a really poor spring to date and McEuen has looked sharp. I was there yesterday and was surprised with no completion for McEuen. But it was 3 and out for both and only one series each. One was knocked down by Vic So'to at the line and he knew the play. Saw Johnny Harline (pretty sure) there and he was still open as McEuen threw to him after practice.

I wonder what the deal with Gaskins is, he was great in the spring game last year. It seems like he should be getting more than one series at this stage as well. We really need to have him ready to go, in case he needs to.

Don't forget that the defensive players have a significant advantage in that they know the offensive plays. But failing to complete a single pass is terrible.

Hey, I interpret this as evidence that our defensive backs are fetching good. It most likely requires a veteran with some swagger to be able to play against them. As Cruiser said, Max has been successful only by exploiting the smallest of seams, and seemingly less so all the time.

That may be true, but any team I ever played on (which is limited from little league to High School) when the defense new the play the coaches told them "not to play hero"
