I'm sure this has all been discussed, but I've missed it. Will the MTN and Versus both be in HD?

Versus should be...they do all their NHL and rodeo stuff in HD.

As for the MTN, I think it will come, but not this season. The MTN uses Hd equipment for all their broadcasts, so the capability is there, but they need to get distribution for their basic broadcast before they worry too much about asking for additional bandwidth for HD. I like the DirecTV deal as DTV has been aggressive in pursuing HD simulcasts, even pressuring local stations to get it done.

I don't see the MTN going HD this season, but I am optimistic for next year.

Something I noticed as a DirecTV subscriber, that a single channel will come in both HD and Non-HD. The tennis channel is #217 for both regular and HD! Conceivably, they could do the mtn. in HD farily easily. CBSSC is in HD too.
