I am really excited about the year and I think this article hit it just right. It is really impressive what Bronco has done with the team, the alumni, the fan base around the nation, and more and more...people around the country.

This upcoming season should be special and we will be pulling for "perfection". We have the horses to pull it off and it will be fun to watch...for those who have the correct TV package.

However, I must admit I have my eye on the horizon of 2009 with our senior offense, a defense with experience and an awesome home schedule. That is lining up for perfection.

Here is to continued efforts during the summer work outs and a healthy Spring Game, Fall camp, and starting the season 3-0 rather than 1-2!!

War Cougars

True, but he will likely redshirt since he played as a true freshman and may need the time to get his legs under him again. But I could be wrong, and I hope I am!

I don't know, I still think next year, Hall and Collie's senior year is "the year" I think their young secondary will get them into trouble at least once next year.

Very true Hengst. the secondary is going to get some major testing this year. A one loss season would be great with a bowl game at the end, but anything less would be a little disappointing. If the team really wants to make a run at the title in 09 they have to make a large statement this year anything more than 2 loses will be hard to overcome.

AND WHO BROUGHT UP THE 96 loss!!!!!! As a young teenager, I was devastated after that game. Just devastated. That's when I found myself saying maybe next year, and repeating every year since then. Maybe THIS year????

Couldn't have said it better myself.. Right when i'm graduating and maybe moving out of provo, they could have one of their best years, yet- Perfect :-(. Go Cougs

You don't have it too bad. I got there in '99 for an 8-4 season. Left on my missionin 2000 and missed the 12-2 2001 team. Then I was back for 5-7, 5-6, 5-6 and 6-6 seasons. Left just before the 11-2, 11-2, and 13-0? The Cougars were 29-29 while I was there, and I was even there for 5 seasons. Other than coming in 2000, serving a mission and graduating in 2006, I don't think it gets any worse.

I love that ESPN has an article on BYU which quotes the New Testament.

And does anyone know our OOC schedule for 2009?
