Football this Saturday 4 Months ago Karma: 3
This info is for anyone interested in playing football this Saturday.

We will be playing flag football at 10:30AM at Mountain View High School in Orem Utah.

We will also be playing tackle football at the same place at 2PM.

You are all welcome to come to one or both. I understand most will not be able to play both games due to not being in football shape... But I highly recommend it for those who love playing football as much as I.

If you need any more info let me know.

PS.. We just play for fun.. No one is trying to kill anyone or prove how much of a man they are.. We don't want to hurt anyone because we want everyone to come next week!

I am planning to be there, likely for the 2:00 tackle game. Which one of the two usually has the higher attendance?

I'd have to say flag has better attendance. To be honest last Saturday was the first time we had enough for tackle since November.. But considering the weather is getting better I think we'll be able to continue playing both. For our first week back playing tackle we had 11 people come. We usually prefer to have 12-16. Personally 7 on 7 is my perfect amount.

With flag we average anywhere from 7 people to 18.. Just depending on the weather and luck.

Cool, good info! From my experience anything 12 or higher usually works out pretty well. Below that and it gets a little dicey and messy. I do prefer tackle though I also enjoy flag so there's a slim chance I'll get in on both games. Hopefully this 35-yr old body can keep up!

Dude this would be way fun! I'd have to stick to the flag game because of knee problems and back surgeries, but this would be way tight. We should get a league put together. I love all sports, but man nothing compares to the gridiron! I just got out of my PFD (Post Football Depression). It was worse this year than usual because I had missed football for two years and then when I got home it was early December so I missed the high school football season, missed the whole cougar football season other than the the Vegas bowl (I'm glad my family taped every game I missed, I missed 2 great years of cougar football!!), but luckily I was home for the NFL playoffs...And when it ended the depression set in...The Combo of going to college with no football was almost too much too bare...But luckily we had spring football and now the NFL draft is 9 days away and Finals are next week, so life is good...Nothing beats the summer speculation of the upcoming football season...Then when summer ends, life begins again!
