Another tidbit about UCLA: they've had 4 OL coaches in 5 years. That's not a recipe for sucess.

I'll have to agree, but only because it's coming from the Colonel and the Colonel knows successful recipes.

UCLA and Washington will both be as good as or nearly as good as any other team we play before Bowl season and maybe including Bowl season if we lose 2 or 3 games.

Having said that, I do not expect either of them to contend for the PAC 10 title.

But lets beat them anyway and win all of our other games and see what happens in the end.

Hopefuly we won't end up playing Georgia. It would be nice to get Ohio State in a Bowl Game and start to get even with them for some past losses.

Or wouldn't it be a treat to Beat Norm Chow and BO early and Gary Crowton late.

Go Cougs

There's no way UCLA competes for the PAC-10 title. Their O-line is a mess and their QB's are a big question mark. The reports from their spring practices constantly harp on how ugly the offense looks. The other constant is the "we've got 23 highly-recruited athletes coming in who can help us immediately." I don't think a team that is counting on freshman for help is going very far.
I honestly don't know about Washington.

If I had to compare UCLA's QB's to a punctuation mark, I think I'd say they're more like a colon than a question mark. (At least BO, anyway).

And in response to an earlier post, I don't think cheering for UCLA is cheering for BO at all, considering that he won't be playing much-until Cowan gets injured. And, to be honest, I kind of hope that BO does well-at holding clipboards and sending in signals.

Can't agree with you there comparing Ben to a colon...more like a semi (still developing) colon in my book....
