If I had to compare UCLA's QB's to a punctuation mark, I think I'd say they're more like a colon than a question mark. (At least BO, anyway).

No need to get anal about it...

There's no way UCLA competes for the PAC-10 title. Their O-line is a mess and their QB's are a big question mark. The reports from their spring practices constantly harp on how ugly the offense looks. The other constant is the "we've got 23 highly-recruited athletes coming in who can help us immediately." I don't think a team that is counting on freshman for help is going very far.
I honestly don't know about Washington.

And in response to an earlier post, I don't think cheering for UCLA is cheering for BO at all, considering that he won't be playing much-until Cowan gets injured. And, to be honest, I kind of hope that BO does well-at holding clipboards and sending in signals.

Can't agree with you there comparing Ben to a colon...more like a semi (still developing) colon in my book....;)

I must have been reading this post too fast; I thought you meant the body-part "colon"...

Browse that Huskies blog (Seattle Times) for entries about Garcia, there are several.

Garcia broke his lefranc or whatever, a bone on the bottom of his foot. His Husky career is almost certainly over. They have said the best case scenario is that he could come back for the last game and play a few snaps, but that is a reach.

We had 3 "Lisfranc" injuries recently (Cade Cooper, David Tafuna, Aaron Wagner) and it seems that it'll cost you a season or so to heal from it. I've never seen one clinically but there seems to be some misinformation about whether it's just tissue or bone; to be honest offhand I'm not sure. I do know it results in dislocation in weight bearing joints of the feet, but I don't know if there has to be a break for it to be diagnosed 'Lisfranc'

MLOdawgs,
Sorry to hear the outcome for Garcia. Hope for your seasons sake that you have a servicable back up.

We do have a very talented backup but he hasn't had much playing time yet. He is Matt Sedillo, a red shirt sophomore.
