Fans to start a new tradition? 2 Months, 2 Weeks ago Karma: 32
Perhaps we should also start a pre-game ritual as a body of fans the night before a game. Not like the 12th man stuff at A&M that wouldn't be original, i guess that doesn't matter, but when the MTN (or was it cstv/vs?) had their evening pregame show at BYU it had tons more people than at any other venue, perhaps we could have cheers, play football, contests, t-christensen-ism t shirts, Lavell is my homeboy hats, free food etc...get us pumped up-as well as have the Michael Scott Wear "only" Blue awareness to cure rabies (or something)

Maybe we could get a local grocery chain to sponsor the pep rally... they could rotate it between locations around the valley each home game. They could get Greg Wrubel to come in and hype fans up and give some game tickets and other KSL/BYU items... there could be cheap hotdogs and a football toss... maybe a little train to ride for the kids? Maybe some other games... not only would it hype BYU but would be good for business...
I'll call my local Maceys Grocery store and see if they would have interest... it seems like a perfect fit.

I'm glad Texas A&M as mentioned. They have three traditions that I would be in full favor of BYU adopting:

1. Fans show up early

2. Fans stand up to cheer

3. Fans stay the entire game

I prefer that we not build large wooden bonfires that end up killing students though.
