The thing that will help BYU getting more people into the NFL is if the current BYU coaches do a better job of building relationships with NFL teams and coaches, provide more film on their players, and promote their players more. Players who have never played a game on TV (not even local to the college TV) are getting drafted because their schools are working to get them drafted.
During BYU's losing seasons under Crowton, BYU was getting multiple players drafted. It wasn't because of games being on TV, it was because Crowton knew people in the NFL and the program was doing a better job of marketing the good players to the NFL teams.
