I think Beck will get a fair shot at being "the guy". I think he will start opening day and have a chance to prove if he can play. If he can play Henne will sit. If he can't, he really wasn't going to play anyway.
On the other hand, the fact that they didn't take Henne earlier in the second says that they still have some faith in Beck. Otherwise they would have taken him sooner knowing that GB was also looking for a QB and picking right before them. JMHO
There's no way any rookie is going to come in and outwork Jo Beck. And that is what it would take. Becuase he's not only talented and smart but he's a work horse. I could still see them maybe bringing in a vet but for now I think things are looking really good for John. Hopefully he'll have healthy Ronnie and Ricky in addition to the new OL help he's received.
