I wouldn't underestimate the Bruins so much. They always have good athletes, and would compete in the MWC even in down years. And Neuheisel and Chow are no fools. They are the types who can do a lot with little to work with. Who knows, Chow may even be able to make something out of Olson.

Their no confidence vote in Ben last week turned out to be premature then.

How does a QB get hurt in practice? don't they not take hits?

I'm not sure, but my guess would be that Cooper could tell you.

I think Ben O is simply injury prone. Some guys have bodies that can take the movements and hits and others don't. Yes Cooper was bending over looking over looking to recover the ball when he went down. Or just bad luck. Who knows? I heard the Cooper and Sam Doman were walking on at Oregon. Anyone know how that went? I understand that Doman shifted to TE. That was something BYU tried to get him to do but he refused (I guess refused as it never happened). He was not a QB.

Go Cougs!!!

Probably Doman looked at the TE competition at BYU and Oregon while making that decision.

Funny thing is that he couldn't seem to get over not being able to play QB in college so he tranfers to a school where he thinks the competition is "open" and where he has to walk on to do so. Not only does he still get moved to TE, but he loses the scholarship he had while at BYU. On top of that, if you're going to be a TE, who's going to make you a better one, BYU or Oregon? Some kids just can't seem to exercise a little patience. I know the writing was on the wall with Max being the starter but you never know when the starter will go down. Four years may seem like a long time to play but it goes pretty quick when you keep transfering from one school to another chasing the "open competition at your position".
