I couldn't hear why because I was in the cafeteria for lunch and it was loud. But They showed highlights of him and said he was the QB that had the best chance to succeed in this year's draft.

Let's hope Beck can turn some heads this year. Or let's hope he gets traded to a better team where he can either serve as a back up and learn for another year or two, or start on a team that can PROTECT him.

The Dolphin O-line just got a lot better, but it won't matter for Henne. Parcell's isn't a big fan of starting rookies. Beck will be who management is eyeing to take the reins. If he doesn't it will be McCown. Henne will be carrying a clipboard this season.

Just like cougarfan87 said, Parcell does not like to start rookies...much less rookie QB's. He has already cut the team up in the offseason by having 44 new aquires and cutting off much of the fat since mid January up to this point. The avg. age of the team has gone from around mid 30's down to mid/late 20's in age. He will end up starting a few rookies this year because of that. Jake Long, Dale Murphy's son, and possibly a few more on the D-line will be some of the starting rookies. I really doubt that Henne will even sniff a start this coming season...even if it is late November or early December.

Beck needs to keep looking ahead and working on improving himself, but he doesn't have to watch his back. (kind of punny since they just got a new left tackle and quarterback) I seriously doubt Henne sees any playing time this year, whether they think he is their future guy or not. I don't think you can blame last year on the Dolphin QBs, and Parcels knows that. Foxsports has Henne on their list of 8 rookies (by round) who can make an impact this year.

But they also have Kehl on the list as well. I like the pronounciation guide for Kehl, and they call him "more mature than most draft picks" for having served a mission. Some good press.
