So I found this particular comment quite interesting:

While I like all the preseason hype and want the national attention, I'm not sure that I agree. 2006 was a very efficient, well-oiled machine. Unfortunately, they had to learn their identity through 2 early-season losses. Despite identical records, I feel the '06 team was head and shoulders above the '07 team. I do expect the '08 team to be better than the '07 team but not as good as the '06 team.

In 2009 this statement may be true, but I think it's one year early.
