BYU's home schedule is pretty good other than UCLA and New Mexico. The away schedule concerns me the most about a BCS run. Away games at Washington, TCU, Air Force and Utah give each team an extra 3 point advantage. If they can sweep these teams at their house they should be ranked 10 or better.

Barring injury to Hall (and to a lesser extent, Collie), I'll be disappointed if we have more than one loss in the regular season. With one loss, I'll be just satisfied. Going undefeated in the regular season is going to be really tough. Even though I think we're likely to win each game individually, that doesn't mean we're likely to go undefeated.

Whether or not we get into the BCS is still contingent on how other teams fare. But if we do go undefeated and don't get the invite, I'm going to cry foul! But if (WHEN!) we get in, we'd better win. Hawaii embarrassed all the non BCS conferences and did us a disservice by just focusing on getting invited to the party, not on dancing well.

There is absolutely no chance of that! If we go undefeated, we will definitely be in a BCS game. We will for sure be ranked in the top 10 by then, which will guarantee us going.

I have a feeling that the UCLA game will be tough, but should be a win. Very similar to how the AZ game played out last year.

I don't have a big concern about UNM. They lose a lot of their skill players on offense, other than their QB.

Washington will be tough; we just need to contain Locker and their freshman WR (Polk). Even the UW fans know that their defense will still be an issue, even with an influx of new players.

Air Force will be rebuilding - they lose both Carney and Hall.

TCU will be tough, but they are already starting a downward trend that will continue next year, as well. I believe both of their bookends (Chase & Ortiz? are gone).

Utah will be tough no matter WHICH field it's played on. That will probably be the toughest (and closest) game all year long.

Looking at each game individually we win them all, but looking at the season as a whole it is hard to say that I won't be disappointed if we don't make a BCS bowl. There will be a lot of tough games, but I don't see a game we shouldn't be favored in. Utah will likely be the toughest game, but I would be surprised if we face a healthy Brian Johnson.

I think our offense will be nigh unstoppable. We should really have a balanced attack. Unga, Fui, JJ and Tonga rushing behind our big, experienced offensive line and we should be able to pound the ball if necessary. Then Hall with Collie, Reed, Pitta, Ashworth and the backs...can you imagine game planning against this offense?

I am a believer in our defense too. Jorgensen and Nixon provide the leadership and many of the new players have seen a lot of playing time. I don't know why, but So'Oto playing LB makes me giddy. I think defense is more about the system, and I believe in Bronco's system.

I think Bronco will have them taking it one game at a time, starting with Northern Iowa, and this should be a special year.

And next year...
