There have been many great years in BYU history. There has only been 1 perfect season. I will not hold anything against this team if they do not run the table. I will be disappointed if they do not play every game with the heart and passion we expect. Going 12-1 would be a huge accomplishment and 1 of the best seasons ever.

Well put. I think every game is winnable, but undefeated seasons are just plain special.

I think the reason that we are so hungry for BCS glory is that if we don't make it, we can only go back to a very mediocre bowl game. When the WAC winner went to the Holiday Bowl, we knew we would be playing against another highly rated team-SMU, Ohio State, Texas A&M, and so on.
If we win the conference but don't go BCS, the best we can look forward to is maybe another PAC-10 rematch with UCLA (?). Bleech!
If the Vegas bowl wants the MWC champ to get jazzed about the game, they need to negotiate a better tie-in.

Well put! That is exactly why it is BCS or Bust. We have to make a BCS bowl game this year!

OK, so here is the scenario. BYU and Utah are undefeated going into the final game, and the winner goes to the Fiesta Bowl. Who of you sleeps at all the week leading up to the game?

This is actually a prediction of mine of what is actually going to happen. That would be intense! ESPN will pick up the game, and put it on ABC. Of course then BYU would dominate the game, and the Yewts would know that we owned them!!

I'm hoping for the Fiesta Bowl. I will say this though, the Vegas bowl is getting a little old. 3 years in a row is fun, but I'm sick of playing mediocre Pac-10 teams. Cal, Oregon, and UCLA were all mediocre. I know we lost to Cal, but that was Bronco's first bowl game as a head coach. Use it as his Mulligan!

Fiesta Bowl would be great, but even better would be if USC and Ohio State both went undefeated, and played for the championship game in the Orange Bowl, so that means 2 spots are open in the Rose Bowl! Can you imagine if BYU got selected to go to the Rose Bowl!!??! How awesome would that be? Now, USC would have to go to the National Championship for that to happen though.

Either way, I'll be at every home game this year, and hopefully a lot of the road games. I'm headed to Seattle for the Washington game, and Logan for USU. Go Cougars!

I can never say BCS or Bust for BYU. A sweep of the Pac-10 schools (which should equate to an undefeated nonconference schedule) would be good enough for me assuming they lose no more than 2 conference games. It's time for BYU to start doing some damage against nonMWC schools in the regular season.
