he is the only wr that byu has offered in the 09 class so far. he goes to austin collie's high school, is lds, and dates ac's little sister (when last i heard). while i expect he will get a pile of offers before the summer is over (expect several pac-10 schools to be in that pile), i have heard that it is only a matter of time until he verbals to byu.
one thing to note, he has a 4-star now, but that just happened. until a week ago he was not rated. byu offered him very early, iirc it was when he was a sophmore. what that tells me that their player rating is ahead of the curve.
