I understand that preseason rankings are simply "guesses" but it's obvious when people don't do national research, or rely on past years' teams. Enjoy and don't worry...it's just guesses, most likely back east

This site flippin' puts Louisville in the top 4!!! And Ohio st. where BYU is in other polls, 14. This preseason poll does say it's for 2008, i thought perhaps it was meant for 07, it's just funny to look at. Hopefully we don't get big heads, but just have confidence we'll be ranked higher than louisville and ball st. next year.

As another example of how the natchamps poll is recycled 2007 trash, they have us playing SDSU after Utah this year. They can't even get the schedule right...

Read what they say about Ball State being selected #25. They use the #25 slot to pick a "dark horse" that the acknowledge most other polls will overlook. I can accept that. It's some of the other choices in the 1-24 range that got me laughing.

Heck they still have us playing Nevada, too.

Seriously nationalchamps has Hawaii as a possible team to consider? They lost the only good players they had ona team that was slapped silly in the ONLY tough game they had all year and they think they are possible? further more BSU in the top 25? sorry they lost to a subpar ECU team. they lose their QB and basically their entire line and their back-ups last year were not that good. They also lose their two best secondary players and have question marks all over their front 7. I am with Mars this guy has no idea what sport he is making his list for.
