It is a good example of how numbers can be twisted to suit many purposes. Tui had his highest yds & completion pct against UW last year. His second best completion pct was against BYU. His fewest total yards passing was also against BYU.

Of Tui's 28 TDs, eight TDs came during AZ's seven losses. Twenty came during their 5 wins. He had two 5 TD games - UW and NAU.

Methinks that AZ was lucky to play us when Max Hall was still an inexperienced QB.

To someone who knows: How did the talent and rating of the o-lines compare. I read somewhere there is a method for measuring the efficiency of the oline. Who had the better line last year? Did that make a difference in the type of yards or TDs produced?

When Tui is healthy, he and U of A seem unbeatable. When he is not healthy, U of A stinks. U of A beat us and John beck in 2006 with a healthy Tui that hurt us. Later that year Tui got injured and Arizona tubed. Then he got healthy again and they had about three upsets in a row. Then he got hurt again and they tubed.

In 2007 Tui was learing a new system when we played them. He did not hurt us. He obviously improved later. He is very good but fragile.

Hall was still in diapers when we beat Arizona in Provo. He improved game by game and was not fragile. Hall will continue to improve. Most teams would be lucky to have either Tuitama or Hall. Arizona has Tui. We have Hall. I think we have the better of these two excellent quarterbacks.

Do not underestimate the pups at UW. They will be a very good team that plays an impossible schedule and therefore looks like a bad team again next year.

They have 7 home games and 5 away. If they don't get it done at home it's their own doing.

Am I the only one hear that reads the title "Praise for Max Hall from Husky beat writer" and immediately thinks of DH?
