A currently open poll found on cbssports, shows that Kwhitt is more likely to be fired than unlv's sanford....unlucky.

I would argue that unlv, sdsu (as always these 2 teams have the most 'hotseat coaches' in the conf.
wyoming, then the rest are unsafe to say, with afa, csu working in new coaches still. But if i had to say, i'd bet yewts, then unm, then tcu and finally BYU as most-least likely fired.

also note: it's interesting that the "quality" teams we play have coaching changes almost yearly. Our first few non-conf. games last season all had new HCs, OC, or DC's, that's crazy! And if changes aren't being made great "quality" coaches are on the noose-mike stoops, tyWill, (weaker, but nice Brent Guy), and as for next season, UCLA: new everything, except for DC, and Wash: new DC...the only stability i see is on our own BYU

This is an error. It is supposed to be Utah State's Brent Guy on the list. Funny that people are still voting that Kyle will be fired in '08, especially considering how easy it is to vote for the other four coaches listed.

KW will be on the hot seat only as long as the Yewt nation believes it has ascended to a plain beyond the 8 win mark.

Otherwise, with an occasional win over BYU and a yearly date in a bowl game, the Yewt higher-ups will leave him be.

I've said it before and I'll say it again - one great season does not a legacy make.

If they win 8 again this year, it should be interesting to see which way the turds roll off the wagon...

OK the poll results about KW are funny, but that's all they are. It was initially meant to include Ray Guy at USU as JeremyGeorge said. Some BYU fans spotted it, and in at least one case, invited others to pile on the anti-KW poll. KW is not in any danger. Utah suffers from occasional emotional letdowns, but they're more consistent and better overall than in the McBride era. And since KW has taken over, they're always up for BYU/UU game - whether they win or not is another story...

i'd agree, kwhit-has taken the yewts ABOVE what they ever should acheive, 04 is no more without paying the big bucks...i hope we can hang on to Bronco, as we should be able to, kwhit can have good bowl results and keep losing to BYU, unlv, and occasional air forces, new mexico's.
