Exactly Mars. BYU beat TCU in 2006, in Fort Worth, and TCU was ranked 15th or 14th at the time. So, I hope that answers that guys question. And in that same year BYU should have beaten Boston College (Remember, double overtime) if they wouldn't have taken Matt Allen's touchdown away from him and if Payne makes his field goal.

Also, a lot of ESPN writers are picking BYU to start the season ranked #14. Are you actually saying JM you think your rankings are more trustworthy, legitimate, and honorable than everyone at ESPN? How many ESPY's have you won? Just checking.

Sometimes i will give a realistic view if people are praising byu to much and smashing on good teams just to make ourselves look better but this just doesnt make sense. I dont care who we have beat and how the last two years we are 22-4 which is an amazing record and we should be proud of it regardless of who out of the top 15 we have played. We have great young talent and we have tried to play better teams but most of them wont come to provo cuz it could easily be a loss. I hope ur not this negative towards everything you pretend to like.

Honestly, one of the dumbest posts I have ever read. NO FAN ever (and I mean EVER) mocks their own team like you did. You do not deserve to be considered a BYU fan. CB has been so nice with you and Airwolf gone. I invite you to get off a fan site and find something else to fill your time. People like you make me sick-at least ute fans and Airwolf have the cajones to admit what they are (either ute fans or BYU-haters, in Wolfie's case).

Until you can bring a strong take or add something of substance to our message board, please don't post whatever is bouncing around in your head. BYU has won back significant national respect. Hopefully BYU will stay on track in 2008. Consistency is important. But football is a game of inches, bad bounces, luck, and "what ifs".

The team the last two years could have easily lost a couple more games or gone undefeated. This year will be no different. We could lose 4 or 5 or go undefeated.

So let's hope the Cougs suit up for every game and never let up. This team will need to be better than the last two years to keep the same kind of 12-2 pace. The offense will be better. Let's give the defense a chance to show and prove what they can do and then we will know where we are.
