Desperate times call for desperate measures.

Where are all those "realists" to stir the pot during the long dreary days of summer?

Wow! Can't believe I said that. I must be getting really desperate.

I'm so desperate that the other day I spent two hours reading the Northern Iowa football fan board and they're not even an FBS school.

Right now I don't have any cable TV access so I can't even watch BYU classics.

I'm so desperate for my BYU football fix that I stopped by one of the inner city parks here in San Jose the other day to watch some teens playing touch football with a nerf football because a couple were wearing blue (probably their gang color). A kid wearing a blue shirt scored and I was ready to sing "Rise and Shout". They gave me some weird looks but I wasn't worried. My buddies Smith and Wesson were riding with me...

A couple of nights ago I woke up in a cold sweat in the middle of the night. Thought I was going through football withdrawal symptoms until I remembered that I left the AC off when I went to bed. Had me scared for a moment...

Been dreaming about BYU football at night. Can't get a peaceful night's sleep. Been winning too many games in my sleep. In my dreams we always win. Got up to take a sleeping pill so I could get some sleep and accidentally grabbed a laxative instead. Didn't help much with my sleep but it seems to have improved my 40 time considerably.

Heck, I'm so desperate that if I had any skill at cross dressing I'd probably sneak into the BYU Women's Football Camp.

Anyone else desperate?

Oh ya! I wouldn't say I'm completely desperate! But! I hate when there is nothing but baseball on!
I have a pretty cool story. My wife and i have a mutual friend who was married too a puke fan! But they got divorced! Anyways she said she would never date a puke again! Well she started dating this huge puke fan! He's actually a real fan! Which is few and far between! He even admitted that! He even talked about how the fiesta bowl was sold out! But they can't even feel up a forty five thousand seat stadium.
Anyways last night they all came over too my house last night! Well it was fun too talk about the last two years. And he said when was the last time the cougs went too a bcs bowl game. Then I just said what's happened the last two years the cougs and the pukes played! It was funny! It was friendly banter. He's a cool guy! But it got my competitive juices flowing. I can't wait go cougs! Destroy all the teams in our paths! Go cougs!

I think many of us feel the same way. That is a great thing. It is because we have "real" hope and expectations of our team having an outstanding year and possibly going undefeated and playing (and hopefully winning) a BCS bowl game. And if that happens next year just wait until next summer when expectations will be even higher! Its great to feel this way, imagine what UNVL and CSU fans are feeling right now

It's a great time to be a Cougar fan!

But at least CSU has a new coach, that always engenders new and somewhat anticipated results. But for UNLV, yeah the want and hope that the summer goes slowly, like a man sentenced on death row....didn't Utah lose to UNLV last year, err, umm?
