BYU junior quarterback Max Hall has been named to the 2008 Watch List for the 72nd Maxwell Award, presented annually to the outstanding collegiate football player in America.
The watch list is comprised of 75 players who were selected based on their performance during the 2007 season.
Hall, who is one of 26 quarterbacks to be named to the list, led the MWC with 296 passing yards per game in his sophomore campaign.
The Mesa, Ariz. native finished 2007 as the nation's top-ranked sophomore quarterback, after compiling a league-best five 300-yard games.
Hall, who earned first-team all-conference recognition, also became the MWC's all-time leading sophomore quarterback with 3,848 yards passing.
