I was in the airport filming a school project (pre 9/11 days) and while we sere sitting there filming out walked Steve Young and the rest of the 49ner football team, returning from their superbowl victory.

We followed them down to bagage claim, chatted it up with Steve Young, Jerry Rice and got to hold their super bowl rings. Very cool experience. We even got them on film.

wow, I cant wait for 2 more weeks then, I get to meet like 5 of the players, at a party =D

I will have to say I am envious, but I just got a job with the team and can't wait to meet everyone come fall camp, I already got to meet Coach Doman and a few others. Days are going to be long but good come august.

I once attended a function where I was bumping elbows with the likes of such players as Steve Young, Jerry Rice, Walter Payton, Michael Jordan, Tiger Woods (who actually had me try some of the shrimp dip he had on his plate), Lavell Edwards, Ben Cahoon (who refered to me as his little brother), Ty Detmer, Larry Bird (who played a quick game of pig against me....needless to say I lost badly), and many more big time sports stars. Needless to say I got tons of autographs and stuffed myself full of delicious food which was served by the entire Dallas Cowboys cheerleading team while the '85 Bears performed the "Super Bowl Shuffle" in the background.

Then I woke up and as hard as I tried to fall back to sleep I wasn't able to and so got up and got dressed for work. But for a while...if only in a dream...I was actually there with all of them.

That's funny that you dreamed about one of my experiences. Kind of creepy, though.

Ty and Kim Detmer once stalked me and my brother in University Mall. It was while they were engaged and it started to freak us out. Then we realized that they weren't stalking us, we just happened to have the same taste in where to shop for clothes and we were about 5 minutes ahead of them in the cycle.
