I agree that it is taking a long time, but with some expirience in the field I know these things take a long time. You wouldn't want another instance like the one 8 months ago would you? Where everyone jumped the gun only to find the facts were not actually facts. Or we could have a case like Kobe Bryant where after a year the "victim" (I hate that word, it should be accuser) decided she really didn't want to have to testify. Case dismissed. Now the DA in Eagle, CO looks like a complete moron!
For the DA to put together a case, and not look like an idiot in the aftermath, they have to have solid evidence with commitments from everyone to go forward full steam. Until they get that, they can't prosecute. But if they feel they have something, they'll take as long as they need to make sure they can win the case.
There is a lot to it, so don't just think they are dragging their feet.
