I like to think that akcougar1 wasn't being absolutely serious when he made the comment. I gave him the benefit of the doubt, I guess. And if you guys feel I shouldn't have then. I am sorry and I will fix my mistake.

My "opinion" of Cougarblue is that we are mostly all adults here and don't need to be babysat. No one needs to be handed out "probations" or have priviledges revoked like other sites do. We don't do that here. We don't want to or like it. But when things get out of hand we have to delete a few comments or threads.

Things are not out of hand yet. Sorry, but one comment from akcougar is not where we draw the line at Cougarblue. I don't think what akcougar said was nice and I don't agree with him. But, if we drew the line there we'd have to moderate every thread and adults don't need that kind of supervision.

ok, a couple of things. first, i think it is obvious that my intent was to make fun of espn for his lack of understanding of why that thread was deleted, and his continued pressing of a point that wasn't there. I was NOT making fun of kids with disabilities, and i think that all know that is the case! HOWEVER, because it can be viewed in that light, and has been viewed in that light, i [b:043e30a624]sincerely[/b:043e30a624] apoligize! it was never my intent for that comment to be viewed in that light.

2 of my closest friends have children with disabilities, and i love them both. i firmly believe that those with disabilities are very special children of our Heavenly Father, and so again, i sincerely apoligize that my comment made anyone feel otherwise.

Aaron, if possible, could you please delete that comment as a deep offense of this kind was not intended, and i'm uncomfortable with it continueing to be out there and viewed in this light. Thank you.

lastly, good grief espn, get a clue! your continued pressing of thread deletions is getting a little old. it's not like that thread did not deserve to be shut down. i think you know it, so build a bridge and get over it!

First of all, I agree with RISE and ESPN, and echo them in saying that we should stop making fun of handicapped kids who ride the shortbus.

I mean, to imply that they would hang out with ESPN and let him ride the shortbus too is simply something that I won't stand for- those kids deserve better than that.

Second of all, RISE, I hate to break it to you buddy, but you missed the "REALIST" thread by about 3 days and 6 pages of nonsense. If you have an email address, fax number, etc that we can contact when another one of those stupid, mind-numbing, meaningless threads comes up, we'll be sure to get ahold of you so you can join the babble. Until then, you're gonna have to do better than shooting off one post about how blind we all are and expecting us to come unglued and start another one.

Or, if you'd honestly like someone to point out how the vast majority of your comments make no sense, please say so. Just make sure you take notes though so you won't make the same dumb comment twice :wink: .
