I'm getting sick and tired of officials blowing games for teams. Although I'm not partial to either school, I feel the NCAA needs to get involved and crack down on PAC 10 policies on officiating. It's a joke that their officials are the only ones that can officiate their home games. Sometimes I wonder if the officials get a bonus if a PAC 10 team makes the BCS? There needs to be more accountability for calls in all games. Look at the TCU-BYU and even TCU-Utah game? Two huge blown calls that effected seasons. Any ideas on what new policies need to be addressed?

Talk about affecting seasons. Does anyone remember the 5 second late pass interference flag after time had expired in the National Championship game with Miami and OSU? That was a blown call. Oklahoma has no room to cry compared to that. Miami was national champs. Game was over.

[color=green]Hey, it's not like Oregon sprang the PAC-10 officials on Oklahoma right before game time. They knew when they agreed to play that it would be PAC-10 refs.

Also, the solution to this is for the NCAA to get involved and take over all officiating. Why do the conferences do it anyways? All officials should be under the auspices of the NCAA. [/color:4b750a0f0c]

Also, remember the most the officials did was have an influence on the outcome of the game, they did not cost Oklahoma the game. The fact that Oklahoma could not hit a relativly short field goal cost them the game.

Oklahoma fans, get over it...bad calls are made every week. Some worse than others..but if their kicker could simply make the field goal (not have it blocked) we wouldn't hear their whining!

The call was horrible, but isn't OU supposed to have a great defense. Here's an idea, don't let an offense rack up 500+ yards and score 2 times in the last two minutes. Road teams in college usually get hosed on at least 1 bad call a week. Just build it in to the game plan.

Still.....If the correct calls had been made, Oklahoma would've won. Not that I care anyway- I think it's justice for Oklahoma playing in the National Title game after NOT DESERVING TO BE THERE. Poor Oklehomers.
