Changing topics from thoughs on players, let's talk about the remaining season.
BYU picked up a huge road win over Utah. That leaves them 1-1 on the road and 1-0 at home in conference play.
With that win, I think BYU can go 12-4, maybe even 13-3 in conference. First off, they don't lose at home. They will avenge that loss to UNLV when they visit the MC. SDSU will be the toughest game at home this season given they've beaten NM and Utah on the road already. No other team should threaten BYU at home.
On the road, BYU should get it together enough to beat CSU, Wyoming, and possibly Air Force. Rose has a way of beating AFA. I think BYU has a chance at New Mexico and no chance at SDSU. TCU is playing well enough that I'd have to favor them when BYU goes to Ft. Worth.
If Plaisted comes out of his funk and Tavernari finds his shooting touch, BYU could turn things around and be the most dangerous team in the conference.
So, to recap, I think BYU should come away with wins at CSU and Wyoming, they are even to beat AFA on the road and slightly below even to beat NM and TCU. I give them a 20% chance of taking out SDSU at SD.
They should finish 11-5, at a minimum and go 14-2 best case if the the big guys pull it together and produce on the road.
