Plaisted looking worse
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - The BYU men's basketball team just got done with its shootaround at Clune Arena and it's not looking as good for Trent Plaisted. The junior is feeling a little bit worse and still suffering from his flu-like symptoms. His status is now likely a game-time decision.
And from Greg Wrubell's Cougar Tracks:

As of noon on gameday, it doesn't look like Trent Plaisted will be starting tonight, and he may not play at all. He went through light running and shooting drills during this morning's shootaround at Clune Arena (as he recovers from a case of the stomach flu he came down with on Sunday night), but he was kept out of the team's scout work sessions to save his energy.
Plaisted received 8 litres of intravenous fluids Monday and Tuesday, and is taking anti-nausea pills to stave off symptoms. He was able to keep some food down yesterday, but he threw up again this morning, and looked pale and weak at shootaround as he sat on the sidelines.
Dave Rose will see how Trent looks tonight during pregame warmups, and he could pull off a surprise and play a few minutes, but right now, it appears as if Chris Miles will start in Plaisted's place, as the team is preparing to play without Plaisted.
I remember a game in the 96 NBA finals when Jordan had the flu and still came out and scored 40 something points against the Jazz. I'm just sayin'.;)
OK, so maybe it wasn't quite Jordanesque, but that was a nice game by TP.
He really showed me something playing through the flu tonight.
