Let's see, I post about 70 or so comments in real time to help those who can't watch or listen to the game and you single out this one? Were you even watching the game? Sorry I wasn't able to type up the full description to satisfy all on just what Freddette did on that play and how he was pressured, but I am trying to be succinct for those who can't watch or listen AND enjoy the game myself.
Freddette had some great finishes against Nevill and Tille. As I recall, he wasn't able to get his shot off on that play as he went too deep and faced someone at least 8" taller than he every time he was in the paint. Plaisted is 2" shorter than Nevill and is taller than Tille. Further, Trent's plays are designed to execute inside the paint. Yes, he was hacked often, but there were many times he wasn't fouled and his shot was simply ugly, which is SOP for Trent.
Trent had a great game against CSU, but he gave up 24 points to a player who had sat out 10 games before that week of play. Did you see the UNLV game? He had a good statistical game, but when he was in the paint, trying to create his own shot against shorter competition, he was off again. He got most of his points from break aways and put backs.
I stand by my comment that good NBA players finish those shots more often, or they wouldn't be in the NBA. Trent has quickness and athleticism, but he has no shooting touch. I am not trying to hate on Trent because he does play well most of the time and is a big reason BYU is 21-5 so far, but to think he's NBA ready or that he wouldn't benefit from another year in college is just ridiculous.

2:30 left in the game.
No offense intended, but it's interesting that Jimmer's miss was because he was 'pressured', and Plaisted's misses have nothing to do with getting hacked...
