Why was the BYU-Utah basketball game not televised nationally? BYU is just out of the top 25, it is a great rivalry game and there was lots of intrigue with BYU on the verge of a record streak that was stopped at the exact same point by the Utes 3 years ago.

Why was this not shown on VS or CSTV instead of a lame re-run? Who is to blame for this horrible blue out?

Lots of blame has gone around with Thompson, the MTN, Comcast and cable companies but I would like to point a finger at the other teams in the conference. The contract says that each school has to be shown the same number of times each season. Sounds fair. Except that the schools don't put the same amount of resources into their teams nor the fan support. So this crappy deal hurts BYU fans the very most. And I am angry that I don't even know what most of the players on BYU even look like because they are never on TV here in the East Coast.
