I remember people saying that are RPI will never get past 30 we now have a RPI at 26 with a good chance of moving up with the next 2 games New Mexico has moved up to 51 if they can get into the top 50 by the time we play them and we beat them that is another top 50 win which is always big for seeding. New Mexico intrigues me a bit their schedule was rather soft as they racked up a lot of wins, but they are on a roll right now and I am wondering everyone's thoughts on a SPLIT in the next two games would you be satisfied, dissapointed, or happy. I still haven't decided what I would take obvious I want a win in both, and if we beat SDS we will be ranked going into the New Mexico game, I just get frustrated when we get ranked and then immeditaley lose the next game. But all in all I think I would be o.k. with a split and then to win out the rest of the regular season and end up 25-6 we will have a very high RPI in the 20's and a good chance at a 6/7 seed. THOUGHTS on the next two games?

If BSU wins their last 3 games (@SJSU, @Hawaii, vs. Utah State), they win the WAC.

I don't feel so bad about losing to BSU. Looks like they've turned out to be a pretty decent team. I hope they win the WAC and go to the NCAA tourney. That will make our loss to them sting less.

I'd take a road split against New Mexico and San Diego State. Don't get me wrong, I would much prefer two wins, but that is a tough road swing.

I agree. It helps that SDSU is missing a key player, and we have a 3-game win streak against New Mexico going on (we beat them at the Pit last year, and they aren't undefeated at home this season either).

P.S. As of right now, we may be looking at as high as an 8-seed.

I feel if we win out and take the conf tourney. I think the Cougs can diff get a 4 seed. With alot of the ranked teams being so up and down this year. If the Cougs can stay on this run it will look really good.
