This is a very interesting question and I think it indicates the level of idiocy and dishonesty prevalent in the MWC. IIRC, the reason that the MWC has refused to relenquish its right to BYUtv in the past was that they thought that it would take some pressure off of Satellite companies to pick up the network. Now that the the first stone has fallen (DirecTV), it seems like that reason is no longer valid. If they refused to allow BYUtv to air tonight's game (I 100% GUARANTEE that the school asked for the right to do so), what would be the justification? I can only think of one. To quote most 18-month-olds: "Mine!"
Anyone else feel like the MWC may be out to screw us? Craig Thompson said last week on the radio that there were only 5 or 6 men's BB games not televised. (4 of which are/will be BYU games!!!) What the?
But to answer the question, I think it's safe to assume it won't be broadcast, especially considering we haven't heard anything at this point.
