This is a very solid team with big men that won't have a problem with Plaisted. We'll have to play the best hoops we've played since Louisville to win this one. Playing in Anaheim isn't a bad spot to win our 1st game in the NCAAs in some time.

one thing to take note of is that Texas A&M is 4-6 in their last 10 games

I just posted this on another thread but I will post it again here...

Plaisted better come to play against A&M. They have a big guy, think his name is Jones, who is a beast inside. He goes hard on the glass. They also have a 7 footer who plays well. We better be ready to hit the boards hard! However, A&M doesn't really have a player that can take over the game on offense like the teams we usually have a hard time with.

I'm not sure if DeAndre Jordan (the 7 foot frosh) will be healthy to play but they start 2 6'9" 250 lb bruisers. Taverneri guarding one will be interesting. I wonder if Coach Rose will consider running a zone defense.

or to sound like airworlf

but so far this year BYU is 2-5 against tournament teams, I'm not really sure I like those odds. I don't know what A&M's schedule looked like but BYU hasn't played very well against other tourney teams this year . . .

Also, I really don't like our odds against UCLA in anaheim if BYU wins their first game, but right now, I don't know if BYU really has a great chance to win this game . . .
