Free-throws, rebounding and mental toughness. That is what I hope they work on all summer long. Otherwise it will be the same old disappointment next year.
Why can't BYU win big bball games? The problem here is that even if BYU has a better year next year, they won't be seeded higher than 8 no matter what. The committee will give a team that hasn't won a NCAA tourney game in 6 tries a low seed regardless. BYU just continues to prove them right. I'm so glad bball season is over though, and the inevitable was fulfilled. Sucks we had to go through three months to meet this same end. I had a chance at tickets and I'm so glad I didn't go.
Couldn't believe that half court chuck by JT with a min and half left. Not that that necessarily cost us the game since we were already losing, but that was the worst shot of his ever.
It cost us the game at that point. He was 10 feet behind the arc. He had no business taking that shot. They had plenty of time on the shot clock and he wasn't that hot all night.
BYU could have pulled closer, but that was like a 5 point turn around.
What a nauseating game. We allow one of their players to score a career high. We were out hustled and out played. The Cougars remind of the NBA fast break teams that rack up good records during the regular season and then get swept in the playoffs because the game slows down and they are not built for that game. BYU is too much of a finesse team. At least we can stop beating our heads against the wall with basketball flops and get back to talking about the team that is representing BYU athletics well. Any spring football updates?

I'd like to agree but unfortunately he's had - and will attempt - worse shots than that. He does some sweet stuff but then the poor guy always seems to make a HUGE, CRITICAL poor decision at just the right moment for the opposition.
